Robin Thicke Paula Patton The-Dream Tax Lien

January has been a popular month for celebrity tax liens.

The IRS has hit singer-songwriter Robin Thicke and his wife, actress wife Paula Patton, with a $492,583 tax lien.

Although the tax lien was filed against the stars’ Los Angeles mansion in December, sources close to the couple say that they were only made aware of it a few days ago.

Thicke and Patton began dating as teenagers and were married in 2005. They have a son who is almost two years old.

According to the Detroit News, a representative for the Hollywood duo has made assurances that the outstanding tax bill will be paid immediately.

But that’s not all. TMZ is reporting that the $117,000 state tax lien was filed against singer-songwriter and record producer The-Dream, whose real name is Terius Youngdell Nash. The Georgia Department of Revenue claims that Dream’s failure to pay $60,578 in income taxes in 2007, combined with penalty fees and interest, has resulted in a tax bill of almost double the amount that was originally owed.

It is unclear whether or not The-Dream intends to resolve his tax liabilities.
